@digitalfox@yip.vulpine.engineer yeah, let's get back to old times where you weren't available to everyone 24/7. Back to the time where it was possible to be offline on instant messengers like MSN, ICQ, and such. If someone sent you a message while you're offline, they had to wait for you to come back online, there was no expectation to reach you at any time.

Looking at some #patchday May summaries, it's like the roster of Smash Bros.
"Everyone is here" - every type of vulnerability in basic and critical systems up to CVE 10.

@colinstu@birdbutt.com latest everything of course. I don't partially upgrade my system, that usually breaks things on arch x3. I'll see if anything interesting is logged later when coming back home from work tho!

Uuurgh... why does everything run like crap on #wayland? Or rather #kde on #wayland.
I never had any major performance problems on #xfce and #x11. Here kwin_wayland keeps using at least 20% or often 40% CPU. Chromium even hogs all the CPU time it can get when open.
Firefox only runs well through XWayland.
Who said wayland is stable? #archlinux #ThinkPadX260
(Also.. suggestions are appreciated. I already tried looking up my sympoms online)

Why does Wayland often feel so unfinished? Why does every desktop environment have to reimplement so much?
Little one central tool like xrandr to control your screen configs instead of a clusterfuck of individual tools that don't quite have the same feature set?
I often don't think Wayland is ready, but KDE is deprecating X instead soon.

Anyone familiar with templating and cards in Home Assistant? (I suspect what I wanna do isn't quite possible?) I have an entites card. I added a row "Buttons" and only want to display some of them only conditionally. I can't just hide some of that with templating, can I? I don't want to recreate the entities card four times for all possible combinations and then select one of them based on the two binary states :blobcatgooglyholdingitsheadinitshands: #HomeAssistant

@JSCybersec@infosec.exchange I would hide the full card that way, but I only want to exclude one of the entites. I can add a "conditional row", but I can't use that to hide one of the buttons in a "buttons" row :/
