What had been background music up to that point was very much no longer in the background. It's.. interesting. As you and others mention, not what I'd generally listen to, but I'm glad they're out there making what they seem to want to, and with passion. Fingers crossed they find success.

Sometimes it's a Teams message then a call, or a Teams call to ask if I can stop by a coworker's cubicle/office when I have a moment.. like.. a message would've been a much less disruptive way to ask x3 (To be fair many coworkers are retiring soon, it's likely a difference in what feels comfortable)

@lightspill@tailswish.industries Heck, from what I've seen on Dad's iPhone, iOS has much larger font scaling options that don't overblow already-giant text, and Android started catching up later. From what I last recall of GNOME, a boolean checkbox for "☑️ Large Text" is not cutting it.

@owashe@meow.social Depends on my available time and energy ^^ I have multiple lists, "Catchup" (which I try to read all), "Home" (where I look if I want to read more), then "Frequent posters" (which is excluded from Home, and I occasionally look in). I really want to look more into Phanpy's inbox-thread catch-up mode so frequent posters get a bit more attention. I'm primarily fediverse but also some ATmosphere (web UI only, and they don't have private lists).

@faoluin Heh, interesting. Here, at least within IT, it's seen as either a fun diversion compared to the generic presentations, or something you hit play on then mute to just get the training done. I'm guessing folks outside of IT (who these are really targeted at) might have different opinions. It's been about 3-4 "normal" presentations between every episode of The Inside Man.

Work has been occasionally sprinkling in episodes of KnowBe4's "The Inside Man" cybersecurity training series/TV drama, which.. while definitely educational and leaning a bit much into awkwardness, has been fun enough.

Still, every time the closed captions refer to "[THE HANDLER] ..." (the person directing Mark's infiltration efforts), it just brings to mind a fursuit handler, guiding someone in suit through the process of infiltrating their workplace with fluffiness.
