As I watch a vacant lot two houses down from us get clear cut it fills me with such sadness.

Here in Florida we are in a drought. There's a burn ban at the moment. I had the random thought but think it would be really smart policy:

Burn Ban should be extended to place a hold on ALL clear cutting, paving, and tree removal. As long as we're in a drought and heat wave there is no justification for exacerbating the situation.

Cucumbers! So excited there's so many of them too. Was worried cause the random metal wire I used is a bit small openings for them. Next season Ill definitely use a bigger trellis for the cucumbers.

Last night's dinner was store bought Okra, Lentils and Brown Rice (that I sprout using a GABA setting on my rice cooker) combined with homegrown raddish (leaves and root), two types of home grown amaranth (pictured), and some home grown Everglades Tomatoes.

Not pictured is another bed I just started that will be Okra, Squash, Cranberry Beans, and put a few Pigeon Peas in the middle but may not let them grow. Ive got a lot of other pigeon peas planted not in the beds. Also need to transplant some of our Marigold to the second bed.

The largest library by me is hiring someone to lead the continuing education department which is something I am very passionate about. Trying to figure out how to overcome their Masters degree requirement though which I don't have and don't want to pay for.

I also need to find a better keyboard or swipe keyboard if you have a suggestion. And I tried to get Garmin Connect to work but so far not having any success, thought it was cause of MicroG but if you're right then that shouldn't be the issue.

Getting out of vehicle with phone in hand, decided to reach back for my water bottle dropping my brand new Furilabs FL1Xs causing a large crack. Hoping @furilabs@fosstodon.org will send/sell me replacement screen. Overall the phone has been a so-so experience. I enjoy being on Linux but have had some real annoyances I wasnt expecting which may lead me to getting a different daily use phone.

Bluetooth has been really hit or miss. Garmin hasnt worked at all with it which is frustrating.

Also the sound not having different options so i can mute everything but my alarm clocks.

Ive yet to get landscape mode to work in the camera.

If screen can get replaced ill keep at it a while longer, if not I may go iPhone
