NASA's poster for the #artemis2 mission.
I was reading about the mission this evening and learned that the SLS uses RS-25 engines like the Space Shuttle. Also, the Orion capsule is roomier than I expected.

@shapr Thanks! I wish I was equipped to sell art (especially things like stickers and bookmarks!) easily. I've done it a few times. Mostly I do trades, so there's no money on the line. 😄

@gwenverbsnouns Yes!!! I have a currently on-hold JavaScript (canvas) raytracer project I'm very excited about - it's an interactive lesson that builds up the theory over a series of little demos starting with 2D raytracing.
So many projects to do! That one is near the bottom of the stack. 😵💫

@gwenverbsnouns Oh wow, I remember those hall of fame images!
I loved playing with POV-Ray, mostly just hand-writing scenes. My finest achievement at the time was writing a program (in Java) that would convert BMP images to pov-ray file with a field of colored spheres, one for each pixel. I was so proud of that. 😃

@gwenverbsnouns Oh wow, yeah. I've often wondered how people who were studying AI/ML before "all of this happened" feel about where we're at. I'm sure opinions vary.
Super important to have those other interests and facets to lean on. I always marvel that those stories about career guys who retire and then just...die because they don't know what to do with themselves. I can't even imagine not having 1,297 hobbies waiting in the wings. 🤣
