This is me connected to Squid over a SSH tunnel, which is then tunnelled to Luxembourg over Wireguard. But this machine isn't even my router, the router then wraps it in a tunnel that allows me using IPv6 with entry point in, I believe, Poland… And it's still not half bad!

The book is rather disturbing, but it's not bad fiction. The main theme is whether ethical behaviour should be voluntary and how enforcing it through violence can twist one's mind.
Stanley Kubrick brought it to screen and the film is rather popular. It's actually the movie that made me think it's the fourth derivative — I'm not certain, but I think that milk is never mentioned in it, the narrator says something about the drink coming in three varieties, but they omit the milk part that was present in the book. I don't remember it too well myself, it's been years, I have to re-watch it!

Oh, it could be third (or even fourth) derivative then. We might never learn the truth, but maybe the one naming the drink wanted a cool name for a drink that makes you feel energised and Clockwork Orange had just the thing, but they had no knowledge that original name was a reference to a Russian word that made milk an essential ingredient. That is how milk disappeared from the drink, but not from the name.
You know, like anime characters that are inspired by heroes or legendary beasts from Western folklore — they might have a similar name, maybe possess a couple of traits, but otherwise be vastly different from their prototype 😁
Such an eclectic approach seemed shallow to me when I was younger, but now I think it's fun!

Burgess' A Clockwork Orange had a drink named Moloko Plus that the protagonist often indulged himself in with his friends. The drink was basically milk spiked with stimulant drugs. I believe it inspired many real world drinks and cocktails not containing illicit substances.
And the name "moloko" is transliteration of молоко — milk in Russian (and maybe other Slavic languages), A Clockwork Orange's NADSAT slang almost entirely consists of transliterated Russian words, even the word NADSAT itself means "teen" in Russian 😆

But at this point I simply don't want to switch — I got used to it! I have configured Librewolf to look and feel nearly identical to what I have now, but even the most tiny differences in behaviour annoy me a lot.

Damn, being a little late I just finished building old Firefox ESR — 115.34.0 for all my computers having different architectures… And they release 115.35.0! Today — not on the 24th like they always do!

Windows Phone was launched in 2010 and discontinued in 2015 when Windows 10 Mobile got introduced, which in turn was EoL'ed in 2020.
Original iPhone got introduced in 2007, so it kinda "was there first" 😄
Are you not confusing it with earlier Windows Mobile/CE? I believe kernel of Windows Phone 7 was based on Windows CE, but otherwise they weren't compatible and had little in common.

It's in Rust, but otherwise a very nice resource monitoring tool. Bottom's widgets are scriptable and there is a keyboard shortcut to maximise any of them.

For real? I can vaguely remember something like that in ed2k software, there was also something called Vypress Chat that provided both P2P file transfers and serverless chatting on local networks — and it was quite popular until everyone realised that hosting an IRC server made more sense because they could have bots and other nice things.
Bittorrent software on the other hand remained proudly unsociable — which is why I liked it at the time. Only now, having hosted a seedbox for years, I became more curious — when you seed something for a decade and it only gets downloaded once a year, you start wondering who that person might be 😅
So for me it's more of an acquired taste!

Most people don't get online to engage in any discussions at all — they just seek validation from the clique they consider their own, others seek evoking strong negative emotions in people they barely know, which is an even greater waste of time. But if those seeking validation choose to spend their time on interacting with the later, then they somehow deserve each other.
Pinning a "sealion" label on someone on the other hand is the best of both worlds: you can keep holding opinions you can't even explain in your own words AND it somehow places you above the fray, which gives you additional warm and fuzzy feeling 😁

A lot of stuff Apple gets bad rap for us like that. Remember that update that enabled more aggressive CPU throttling on old phones? A lot of people were like: "Apple is slowing down old phones to force you into biting new ones!!! 😱",— but no, it's not that, I have a phone that never got such an update, it has an old battery that can't hold the voltage steadily and when you start doing CPU-intense things, the phone may just shut off randomly — is that any better than being throttled? Don't think so!
And this Antennagate always seemed a nothingburger to me, thanks for detailed explanation!
Apple does a lot of bad things — but some of them are hardly as bad as people think of them and are just hard to fix PR disasters.
