It had 1300 impression 13 reactions and 2 comments. Nobody mentioned the bra inserts. 😸
The terfs have moved the goalpoasts. Literally the day after the ban on trans people using public restrooms came into effect, the transphobia seamlessly transitioned into ableism.
They are now targeting young women using mobility aids.

In the wake of the attack on the Berlin CSD last Saturday: I can do without the pinkwashing of blatant racism. In 99% of cases the very same people complain about woke and LGBTQ+ being 'forced down their throat' on a daily basis.
Realistically I have most to fear from the very white politicians that rave about christo-judean values and traditions, that want to limit queer and trans rights and impose restrictions and outright bans on gender affirming care.
Few things in the gym feel as good and powerful as a successful split jerk. 🏋️♀️
Also really happy that my front squats at finally improving. In my little clean-squat-jerk complex managed to get a neem PR in the front squat.
(Yes this is escapism, after the news of last night, I need things to be happy about.)

I had the brainfart to just get some extra memory in my work laptop. 8gb is a bit meager for a corporate Windows 11 install. Thinking that older, slowish memory probably is cheap enough to just pay from my expense allowance, without going through the pain of Corp IT ticketing.
An 8gb DDR4 so-dimm starts at around €69 nowadays. 😱
These things were around €20 a year ago, before ram prices soared.

Ik vind het bijzonder dat aan de ene kant AI zoveel mogelijk menselijke eigenschappen toegedicht wordt, tot emotie en empathie aan toe.
Maar, als het gaat om veiligheidsmaatregelen is ineens "We zeggen de agent/bot/LLM dat ie dat gewoon niet moet doen." voldoende. Want het zou op dat gebied wel een rationele machine zijn en harde extern afgekaderde permissies zijn ineens overbodig.

Can't we just have an AI labelling for companies, so you can decide buying their stuff or applying for a job.
Something like:
0 - AI? I'm a plummer. No where is that leaky pipe?
1 - We use some cleverly designed algorithms.
2 - We incorporate machine learning in specific tasks.
3 - LLMs are available for limited non-critical tasks only.
4 - Experienced Devs can use a coding assistant, but are accountable for the output.
5 - GenAI and LLMs are available for staff to use as tools.
6 - We have agentic AI with strictly enforced limited privileges for non-critical tasks.
7 - Developers? We only have 'Prompt Engineers'.
8 - 'Please don't delete prod' in the instructions.md.
9 - We are Palantir.
On a side note "Les XII travaux d'Asterix" was published 50 years ago. Half a century later and laissez-passer / Passierschein / Vrijgeleide A-38 is still universal shorthand for burocracy.

Well fuck this. Terfs are threatening Parkrun UK* with legal action, because they just allow anyone to join the runs without stupid gender assigned at birth shit.
I've got some business trips coming up, including to the UK. And I'm tempted to invoke the new Corporate Gender Affirmation Guidance that states I can refuse travel to unsafe countries without repercussions. Just to make a fucking point.
*Parkruns are free volunteer organised 5k runs in parks on Saturday morning. It's an informal run, that happens to have an online scoreboard.
What's next, do I need to supply my birth certificate and a SRY-gene test to Strava if I want to claim a QOM?

@obsidian nah, someone did a number of manual transactions, cardholder not present. Because for some reason backwards USA is still not up to speed implementing EMV chips and those are still option. Didn't even need to dispute them. But a timely notification would have been nice.
A week ago I found out that my credit card was blocked, due to fraudulent transactions. Couldn't see any message from ING about that and had to call their fraud desk to find out what happened.
Only this morning I got a notification in the ING app telling me that my card was blocked, and I should contact the fraud desk. A notification 10 days late...
Judging from my clothes I'm losing some body volume. Which is fine, unfortunately I'm also losing fat in a place where I'd rather keep it: my breasts. And I need every once I have there. :blobhaj_trans_heart:
Don't know if I'm actually losing weight, the last time my body volume decreased to the point people commenting on it, my actual weight stayed just the same.

Apparently Meta has been banning queer accounts from Instagram again. Although I don't see the en masse wide spread algorithmic bans that are alluded to. The numbers are too low for that. My hypothesis is that these bans follow reporting actions by conservative activists.
Anyway, this is an excellent time to help out our queer siblings to move to greener pastures in the fediverse. Please show some empathy, as 'just hosting your own website', or setting up a Mastodon account doesn't come as easy to everyone. Especially for people that are less tech savvy and only used to the streamlined UX of big centralised platforms.

Why do corporate e-mail quarantine notifications only give me the option to either look in detail, or release the e-mail from quarantine to my inbox?
In 90% of cases I can see from the sender or subject line included in the notification, that it is spam and would like to just delete it straight away.
Wondering why I am still paying for Strava, I'm not using much of the premium perks. Garmin offers about the same, and I don't care so much about segments and QOMs.
Will look into open source alternatives, to do some fun stuff with the years of data. But probably gonna axe the renewal of my subscription.
