watching a video focuses awareness on the video sounds (guys moving around, digital hiss, &c.)
some only listen to computers with headphones ...
the sounds coming from a computer are only one part of the overall ambience
and then why are you watching these metal heads?
remember, at the premiere, the piano lid was closed (off) during each "movement" ...
there is not one absolute truth with creativity

i don't mind the boosting or anything ...
the piece is to help you listen to the music (sounds) around you, not watch some metal heads standing around thinking they're cool by name checking john cage
it's actually an american zen koan
