Autocorrect creates more problems than it solves. Either that, or someone used Alexa to "speak" their review.
I was researching grease guns and came across this review:
"To Greece the nipples on my motor home a the bite on the grave door."
To be fair, many people pronounce grease just like the country.
For the life of me, I can't think what a "grave door" should have been. 😃

Most of the blogs I am finding are ones that make posts about technical subjects,. Typically, programming or SysAdmin stuff. These blogs often seem to use Wordpress or static site generators.

Yup, I know lots of clubs that only post on FB. My two local villages also post on FB. So, I miss the local news, sometimes. Most annoying, but, it won't drive me to Facebook (nothing would).

By coincidence, I've just received an email from one of my favourite orchestras, The Mahler Players.
Later this month they are performing Parsifal (Wagner). Whole duration, including 2 short intervals, is 5 hours and 45 minutes. 😃

I know. I even mentioned the album length in my description.
When I used to go down to Edinburgh on a regular basis I would put the album on when leaving home. I would arrive as the album finished. 😃 Consequently, I now associate places on the route with particular sections from the album.
Perhaps, distances should be measured in Therions. 😂
I boosted a post from the Python Foundation earlier. I made a point of reading their linked blog before I made the boost.
I noticed that the foundation's blog is hosted on Blogspot. It used to be that I saw links to Blogspot all the time. Now, I can't remember the last time I was on Blogspot.
Is it that blogs have declined so much? Is it because I don't use Google for searching? Is Google killing Blogspot, like so many other projects before? Is it just me?

Do you like opera? Do you like Metal? If you answered yes to either or both of those questions, you will love Therion's classic rock opera album. It is a lengthy listen at over three hours. However, there isn't a wasted moment or any filler tracks on "Beloved Antichrist". Every song hits the mark. The soloists, duets, choir, orchestra and band are all on top form, and the compositions are stirring & top-notch.
Give it a listen.

However, I'll highlight one other result from the election. Murdo Fraser (Conservative) has stood in EVERY SINGLE election since 1999, and he has lost EVERY SINGLE time. Since 2011 he has stood in Perthshire North, and before that in North Tayside.
What makes it even more amazing is that Murdo Fraser has lost to the SAME PERSON at every election, the SNP's John Swinney.

I was pleased to see my old #Yes campaigning buddy, Stephen Gethins, was elected to Dundee City East. This means he will be resigning his Westminster seat to return to Holyrood.
Returning to Holyrood might be a smart move for anyone having designs on leading the SNP. Just sayin'. 😃

I've tried to expunge all the sequels from my memory.
The reboot has a stellar cast, and a budget in excess of $100m. Plus, the director is Chad Stahelski, who made all four John Wick movies. Good omens, at least.

I'm hearing that filming of the new Highlander movie is on-going. Locations including Eilean Donan and Isle of Skye. Extras being paid £100 per 2 hours.
I will be interested to see what they do with this Highlander reboot. Rumour is that they are re-using the Queen soundtrack, which is probably a good thing. I'm not sure how Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe will cope in the iconic Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery roles (respectively). We'll see.

Motorcyclists recognise each other with a wave or a definite head nod. (better because both hands remain on the handlebars).
Campervan drivers, particularly VWs, will wave to each other. Although, the wave often isn't given or received by those driving humungus mobile homes. Snobbery? 😃

A sideways v-sign does seem common in lots of east Asian countries. Perhaps it is just something to do with one's hands, like doing 👍 or 👌 .

The archers origin of the rude v-sign seems to be apocryphal.
So far we have the v-sign meaning victory or freedom during WWII, and peace in the 60s. What does it mean now?

Indeed. I've seen many photos of John Lennon and Yoko Ono giving this "peace" sign. Although, I don't know how it went from victory to peace within 30 years.

The v-sign made with the same two fingers with the back of the hand towards the viewer has a well-established, and completely different meaning. In the UK, and elsewhere, this v-sign is an aggressive up-yours meaning.
Legend has it this v-sign originated with Welsh longbowmen fighting for the English army at the Battle of Agincourt.

What does the v-sign mean?
I've pondered this question since... forever. I'm meaning the v-sign formed by using the middle and index fingers (other fingers curled), with the palm facing towards the viewer. Victor de Laveleye invented the v-sign meaning victoire or vrijheid. This was later popularised by Winston Churchill.
Are people using the v-sign now, still meaning victory or freedom? That seems unlikely. Perhaps the v-sign has lost any meaning, and is just being mindlessly copied.
