Running local models in my M4 48Gb MacBook is poop compared to cloud models (and not even talking top tier models)

It sometimes just crashes. I don't mind slow agent speed, but don't crash on me on simple requests.

@waffles@masto.yttrx.com very nice! Let me know how it goes. With docker is rather easy although I needed some AI to fine tune errors when adding that runner. I can share the docker file if needed. From those 100 I think I've migrated like 20 and deleted 25. Years of garbage.

From a 100 repos to only 20 left on #GitHub for now. I shall continue the purge tomorrow. I was able to add a #Gitea runner with Docker. So now my several #Hugo repositories are already building in Gitea as I push changed, just like they did before on GitHub Actions (also using a shared workflow now). Feels good.

What's wrong with the reset.css taking priority in #WordPress 7.0 in all my blogs?

The font is set as serif, rather than the correct one defined in other CSS files that should overwrite the reset.css

What's more interesting is this table about Model Multipliers I have been rocking Sonnet 4.6 which gave me great results at 1x premium requests. On several occasions, what the agent returns in the chat is not what it has done in the files. Quite unusable. I knew I was spoiled, being accustomed to the Claude Sonnet models while at work, but I expected more from the Gemma 4 models. Maybe they are just not for coding, but general-purpose? #AI #Gemma #Ollama

I have tried the new Gemma 4 Apache Licensed models e4b (9.6GB) and 26b (18GB)...

I've set up #Continue with Ollama on my VSCode.

They are very bad. Both models. I had hoped for maybe a slower response time, but better quality. They respond quite fast on my M1 MacBook with 32Gb of RAM, but the code quality is very poor.
