There's this thing where you might be getting hit for 2 but you have something that reduces that damage type so youre only going to take 1, the preview above the baddie is 2, but the healthbar result preview is -1. this is confusing.
you could flip it so the baddie preview is how much theyll inflict after defenses and show 1, which would match what the healthbar preview shows, but then you wouldnt know that normally that attack does 2 and it only does 1 because of gear. this is confusing.

Finished watching Searching for Bobby Fisher (1993) last night which we turned on as a goof because i used to watch it over and over as a kid.
My review as an adult is that movie makes no sense and no character is motivated by any rational thought and I thought it was really cringey that they invented a child messiah character to follow in bobby fisher's footsteps only to discover at the end that its about a real person
Not only that but the book the movie is based on was written by his father
