Finished watching Searching for Bobby Fisher (1993) last night which we turned on as a goof because i used to watch it over and over as a kid.
My review as an adult is that movie makes no sense and no character is motivated by any rational thought and I thought it was really cringey that they invented a child messiah character to follow in bobby fisher's footsteps only to discover at the end that its about a real person
Not only that but the book the movie is based on was written by his father
