DIY screen printing. I’m glad about the new text tool in @freecad@social.freecad.org
Print one layer of PETG, stop the print, add the screen-print mesh, and print another 0.2 layer. Add an edge so the color doesn’t overflow. Et voilà!
This is a very first test with acrylic paint. so not perfect but surprisingly good.
something easy for #FreeCADFriday
A bassport for my old Peruvian cajón in a small drum setup. A 20 cm PVC HT pipe is capped with a nicely rounded 3D printed port.
printing passive speaker diaphragms using two materials: PETG and TPU.
In @freecad@social.freecad.org I can quickly create various form variations.
tuned to approx. 90 Hz with the right weight. You can't hear it in the video, but it works quite well.

Happy #FreeCADFriday !
A simple cable grommet and mounting clips for the solar panel on my cargo e-bike. Finally self-sufficient.
thanks to @freecad@social.freecad.org
it was quickly done and printed in TPU

Recycling filament to create new ones takes time and a lot of attention!
This ESP Cam gives me acoustic alerts via a web server. An old smartphone or any device running a browser is good enough for this purpose. Finally, I can leave it alone. Next, I’ll boot up @freecad@social.freecad.org to design a nice mount. #artme3d #recycling #filament
something special for #freecadFriday
python script in FreeCAD is amazing!
I created this page featuring the script-generators I need to get a direct visual result. Just set the parameters, copy the Python code, make a makro in FreeCAD and you're done—it's extremely convenient. I'll be adding more generators over time; if you're interested, feel free to give them a try!

A compact handheld game console based on the ESP32 for #freecadFriday !
I reused a small lithium battery salvaged from a disposable e-cigarette to power this fun little gaming handheld.

another replacement part for the vintage Festo/Festool ATF 55 circular saw.
I acquired it in very poor condition and had to completely restore it, which meant recreating several plastic parts that were missing or broken. The goal is to make these files available so other owners of this classic tool can keep it running.
as always done in @freecad@social.freecad.org

a little but very important project:
for restoring a vintage Festo ATF 55 circular saw I made this replacement for the original plastic guide rail part. Without it, the saw has noticeable slop on the rail, which ruins cut accuracy.
@freecad@social.freecad.org to the rescue!

Since the old covers were quite worn out and I simply didn't like the gray anymore, I'm glad to be able to print my own now.

I wasn't aware how well 3D assemblies can be visualized in FreeCAD. Here's an analog projector for a light installation, built in FreeCAD, mostly 3D printed.
The need for a last minute gift forced me to build this Duplo gear set in FreeCAD

No more hassle with gluing LEDs or drilling tiny holes – this design simplifies the mounting process for me. hopefully someone else too.
