@Jennifer@m.ai6yr.org In part, I want to post flyers all over the place, like we did up until the early 2000s, but then I'm like, wait, do people leave their homes? @KrajciTom@universeodon.com

I recommend that you collect info on what works in your locale with your target audience.
Here is an example from Alamogordo, New Mexico...that may not apply much to Beantown, lol!...but I think it's still worth considering.
===================
To boost civic engagement, some folks have set up this new public forum program:
https://2ndlifemediaalamogordo.town.news/g/alamogordo-nm/post/354521/invitation-voices-alamogordo-community-forum
I attended the first two. I asked a question or two. After the meetings, I met new folks, got contact info, made appointments to talk with the mayor and in a separate meeting the city manager.
A generous assessment would be that the forums were sparsely attended. I walked away from them frowning, concerned...how do we further boost civic engagement?
A month later I spoke with Chris, the organizer/facilitator of the forums and I mentioned my concerns about the meagre audience size.
That's when he told me something potentially significant.
He also posted a recording of the forum livestream on various social media video platforms for folks to look at later. Several weeks later he made note of the view totals from all the video platforms: 3,000 views?!
The population of Alamogordo city limits is a bit over 30,000...population of Otero county is about 70,000.
It may not be ideal, but maybe we can build civic engagement through virtual/asynchronous attendance?
This deserves further study, then tweak action plans and move forward.

We all start with initial ideas, then as we gather empirical information, we adjust.
Like we say in the military: no plan of action survives first contact with the enemy.
