#mutualaid #mutualaidrequest #fedihelp Doing one final push to hit the goal before August 1st. I'm a little nervous because GoFundMe seems to do "weekly" payouts. So I REALLY wanna get this finished before Friday to make sure I can pay them on the spot Monday. The whole "yeah if you're late again we'll just evict you" has had me in a low key panic since I got that email a couple weeks ago. Once I've rent paid I'm gonna call the WA governor office and plead to have my unemployment request "expedited" (it'll be over 6 weeks by then) which should give me breathing room until at least the end of the year. Making the eternal mistake of checking out the orange site An article about Half-Life being ported by a fan to Mac OS 9 (1999) was posted Naturally all the fucking comments are "waaaaow I bet they used AI to do this" The absolute *dedication* that site has to the slop machine is truly a summation of the worst excesses of LLM's. It's a fishtank full of (usually) below average sand eaters crab bucketing each other about how great they are at being tech bros

Hey, #netbsd folk. Forgive my ignorance on this topic. But I need to build a NetBSD port for a distribution that doesn't have one ready to go. Can NetBSD be built from source *on Linux* or does it need to be built from within a NetBSD environment itself? Just so I know if I need to spin up a NetBSD build VM first
