#photographers what would your ideal social media look like, and how would you like to be monetized in it?
honestly I don’t think enough developers are talking about this yet. on-device AI is not just a neat trick. it’s going to change app and web development in ways most people aren’t prepared for.
there’s a machine layer coming to the web whether we build for it or not. new piece breaks down what that means for data, accessibility, and security, and what you can do about it now.

I built a teleprompter for people like me who can’t use teleprompters. The app is called Scriptate, and it takes your scripts, uses Apple Intelligence to generate cues, and then reads them aloud at your pace. It even works completely off-line. So if you write a lot of scripts and can’t use a normal teleprompter, give the beta a try and let me know what you think. 👇

I already have a feeling what @nileane@nileane.fr will say… but @ChrisLawley@mastodon.social and @mattbirchler@threads.net No clue what’s coming.
Tried out TikTok, YouTube, and Sora’s new AI video generators using the same prompt — a time-lapse of computers evolving from the ‘60s to today.
Spoiler: one of them gave me a masterpiece, one gave me a jank, and one… might’ve just given up halfway.

I love the new liquid glasses design, but the best wallpaper I’ve found with the clear icons is a plain blue gradient. Anyone else having better luck?
My goodness I wish I had tried Arc Browser sooner!!!
Apple Inteligence has one advantage nobody is talking about.
I've just made this post from my Substack free. If you're interested in automation and/or AI, I highly recommend it, especially because with the new Apple Intelligence features in the upcoming OS, you can run these shortcuts without an internet connection. Just have to change it to Apple Intelligence rather than ChatGPT.
We must be ready for September. With the new OS release, many users will have access to a default on-device model.
Start building! 🚀
