@jamesthomson I think satellite internet things in low orbit also talk to each other via laser? It's nice and directional where other wavelengths has a tendency to spread in many directions.

@jamesthomson and what is amazing is none of this modern high tech is even necessary to this project. After all, it was done successfully a half dozen times or more using tech over 50 years old. But yes, they do have a proper toilet this time around (sort of anyway).
