  Getting ready for quite a big move in mid-July, moving about 7 hours north to Scarbrough. Today, I started packing up the streaming setup, which means I'm now using my MacBook Air (M3) as my main machine with my remaining monitor. Have to admit, I like having Touch ID available, I do wish Apple sold a Magic Trackpad with a fingerprint reader!

  Hey @tailscale, I know these things can't happen overnight, I know there's a lot to consider, but would you please look at adding some alternatives to Mullvad? How about a nice partnership with @airvpn - they've got Wireguard support? Thanks for considering.

  Today is a genuinely exciting day, I’m on my way to Scarborough to pick up the keys to the new flat. Still renting, but a huge step up and cheaper than my Bournemouth place. It’ll be @jae and I’s home for years to come, hopefully we can figure immigration for her sooner than later.

  Not wearing headphones when watching video on a train should be grounds to be thrown off at the next station. Allowing your kids to climb on tables, on a moving train, should be grounds for social services to get involved. We really do need adult only work focused carriages that don’t cost first class prices.

  Okay, need some #3DPrinting advice. My Ender-3 V3 SE is a great printer, but lately no matter what filament I'm trying I'm getting really rough prints, a lot of stringing, and poor first layers. Just tried an un-opened spool today, same issue. Is it possible I have a bunch of crap filament, it's Soleyin that I bought in a deal from Creality - all the specs look okay. I'm using OrcaSlicer and OctoPrint, could either of those cause issues?

  My biggest frustration with AI is that we're blurring machine learning and generative AI into one blob. Good use of AI (ML): Improving audio quality and filtering out background noise etc, *without* changing the audio content (spoken word) - Riverside do this for their 'Magic Audio' feature. Bad use of AI (GenAI): Garbage videos by so called UGC creators (aka scumbag influencers) that they've just thrown into something like Sora.
