If I have to pay a company that donates to fascists for replacement parts, my @frameworkcomputer@fosstodon.org is not a lot more repairable than a mac. Edit: oof the irony. apparently hyperland contributers believe in great replacement. Well that is not the kind of replacement I associated with framework until now.

@scammo@chaos.social I'm kinda thankful for them finding these open words. You know, people don't change at heart when they receive backlash. They resist or, if the price for resistance is too hight, fall silent, become compliant and wait for changing times where they can safely fall back into their old behavior. So no, I'm not going to complain. They are now marked as what they are which earned them a spot on my permanent shit list. If they want that to change, they have to do way more than just a half-hearted "Ok, we're sorry". And that's why I'm thankful. Makes it easier to handle them. @frameworkcomputer@fosstodon.org

When you're confronted with examples of racism, white supremacy, and bigotry of all sorts (DHH has literally called large black women "grotesque" and advocated for beauty standards like thin, blonde, & blue-eyed), you don't just say we're a big tent. We 🫶 open source. *Open source is itself a political movement.* You don't get to say you're a-political. This is fucking bullshit.

Any time leadership says, "big tent" or "nonpolitical" it means they don't give a fuck if they are supporting/giving money to people who want to kill me. So I won't give money to them.

I like good open source software. I do not care about the politics of the people behind the softwareAttitudes like this only help hate and bigotry creep further into the world of open source.

I was encouraged by someone myself. People were saying good things because you were being POLITICAL in taking about sustainability, repair-ability. Please come to your senses, fast.
