    LMK if you want this, anybody. It&#39;s a good working early IBM clone computer with some enhancements, like an 8086 instead of an 8088 and a 640×400 bitmapped display.     i&#39;ll just keep hoping someone recreates floppy disks some day. i know there&#39;s a lot of stuff involved, especially with the actual magnetic materials and putting them on a cookie (the disc inside the caddy itself), but it feels like it should be conceivable in a world where people still make cassette tapes and someone is manufacturing nixie tubes again. it shouldn&#39;t be as hard as getting CRT manufacturing going again would be.

    Been playing a bit more of SaGa Frontier. At this rate I can tell that as long as they don&#39;t utterly fuck this up, this is going to be one of those games that I wish I could play for the first time again.     For legal reasons I must state that this chip is in fact blank.     Swapping the Citizen OSDE-15G-U floppy drive PCB into the OSDE-13H-U drive chassis I just got worked, as I suspected it would. The PCB just &quot;bolted right up&quot; and all the connectors were in the right spots. Now my PC-98 works again (I&#39;d torn a flex cable for one of the drive heads).
