"see!? there are gay animals in nature" is one of the dumbest ways to try to say it's ok to be gay because i don't fucking care if it exists in other species or not, do it if it makes you fucking happy and stop having to validate it based on someone else's view

@wyatt@soc.megatokyo.moe I think the best counterargument to "being gay isn't natural" is actually "ok, what other animals drive cars, build parking lots, or save lives through medicine and surgery?" Like, it doesn't matter whether or not it's natural. Doing things that are "unnatural" is what makes us human. So why would being gay be any different?
