What I see as more & more likely is... #tRump & his allies using the #voter rolls they've been gifted by the quisling #SCOTUS to pretend they won & the cheater Dems used dead immigrants to pave way to victory Then #MikeJohnson refuses to seat duly elected Dems to retain the majority & #Fascists declare martial law I'm an election worker. I'm not happy to think about what happens next. Solidarity will be key in days to come :BLM: :af: :better_pride:🕊🇵🇸

Say you have 2 districts

  1. votes 60-40 for #Republicans

  2. votes 55-45 for #Democrats

So you move district borders around

Now you have

  1. 54-46 for Republicans

  2. 52-48 for Republicans

This is #gerrymandering

This is the #USA's stupidity

But!

What if you have a deeply unpopular president?

If you never moved the districts, #voter sentiment swing might leave one Republican district

But now you lose both districts
