#ICE to Pay #ThomsonReuters $125 Million to Find ‘Voter Fraud’ The Department of #HomelandSecurity (#DHS ) plans to pay data broker giant Thomson #Reuters $125 million for access to its databases of personal data — which includes peoples’ names, addresses, #SocialSecurity numbers, ethnicity, #socialmedia posts, and #geolocation information — to help #Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) investigate what it describes as “voters fraud” and immigration fraud, according to procurement documents reviewed by 404 Media. CBC: Proposed class-action #lawsuit filed over alleged #Alberta #voter #privacy breach - https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/voter-data-class-action-alberta-9.7254561

The lawsuit names Alberta's justice and solicitor general, chief electoral officer, Centurion Project Ltd., the Republican Party of Alberta, David Parker and unidentified defendants.

The lead plaintiff is a retired lawyer who worked in class-action lawsuits.
