#Trump is going to have a field day with this — Roughly 400 #noncitizens voted in #NewJersey after about 6,600 residents were improperly registered to vote between June 2023 & June 2024 because of a software error at the #DMV, Gov #MikieSherrill announced Tuesday. ALL of the people affected had disclosed that they were not citizens when registering for either a driver’s license or ID, but were nonetheless placed on the voter rolls in error. #law #ElectionLaw #elections

Good stuff happening in the #GardenState! Governor #MikieSherrill just signed the #JohnLewis #Voter Empowerment Act of #NewJersey into law this afternoon. Extremely necessary to protect the #vote and appropriately coinciding with the #250th #4thOfJuly celebration. #VotingRights #fucktrump #USpol
