"Brazil is an example of a country with a thriving electronic voting system" https://cs.stanford.edu/people/eroberts/cs201/projects/2006-07/electronic-voting/index_files/page0006.html Whereas the USA voting system "still has a long way to go until the machines are bug-free and trusted" And yet: "U.S. aimed to send envoys to Brazil to question its electoral system" https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/us-aimed-send-envoys-brazil-question-its-electoral-system-sources-2026-07-25/ #brazil #election #brazilelections #uspol #BrazilElections2026 #USimperialism #FuckTrump #FuckMAGA #EpsteinFiles

The involvement of Ukraine in the Iran war is a likely gambit designed to bolster Iran war support in the Democrat party of the "U.S." and also a further attempt to get the EU more involved in the Iranian war as well. #IranWar #USImperialism

July 27, 1954 - The democratically elected Guatemalan government of Jacobo Arbenz Guzmán, after receiving 65% of the vote, was overthrown by CIA-paid and -trained mercenaries. There followed a series of military dictatorships that waged a genocidal war against the indigenous Mayan Indians and against political opponents into the '90s. Nearly 200,000 citizens died over the nearly four decades of civil war. “They have used the pretext of anti-communism. The truth is very different. The truth is to be found in the financial interests of the fruit company [United Fruit, which controlled more land than any other individual or group in the country. It also owned the railway, the electric utilities, telegraph, and the country's only port at Puerto Barrios on the Atlantic coast.] and the other U.S. monopolies which have invested great amounts of money in Latin America and fear that the example of Guatemala would be followed by other Latin countries . . . I took over the presidency with great faith in the democratic system, in liberty and the possibility of achieving economic independence for Guatemala.” #Guatemala #CIA #Coupdétat #USImperialism

Interview: The next phase of the US-Israeli war on Iran Analyst Mostafa Khoshcheshm explains why he thinks Iran will emerge from the war as a regional power. Khoshcheshm says the "current phase of conflict will likely escalate into a full blown regional war." In addition, he believes that "Israel is already on its way toward an internal political implosion." This is part two of a two part interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75Tj5ZIlj90 #USPol #EUPol #IranWar #Israel #USImperialism #news #palestine .

Report: Andy Burnham may drop spy-tech firm Palantir from its NHS £330m deal. Burnham, who is expected to become PM later this month, "is reviewing the government's artificial intelligence strategy." "When the PM-in-waiting was mayor of Greater Manchester, the council issued no contracts to Palantir". At least 34 Palantir contracts include UK police, child social care, refugees & environment. https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/andy-burnham-drop-spy-tech-firm-palantir-nhs-reports-say #UKPol #USPol #news #Palantir #oligarchy #USImperialism .

The US Apache helicopter was in Iranian airspace when it was hit. Has this simple fact been mentioned in any of the mainstream western media reporting on this latest round of escalation? Perhaps, but I haven't seen it. A few days ago, Israel did not respond to Iranian aggression with a counter strike (as most mainstream media sources framed it). Iran was responding to Israel's ongoing aggression in southern Lebanon over the last few months, where the Israeli military has been bulldozing dozens of villages, killing well over 3,000 people (predominantly civilians), wounding more than ten thousand people, targeting (once more) medical facilities and first responders, displacing over 20% of the population, while announcing plans to make their occupation permanent. And Iran was responding specifically to Israel once more bombing a densely-populated part of Beirut. For decades, western media have consistently misrepresented the aggressors (US-Israel) as the victims. Whenever one of the targets of their illegal expansionist/imperialist violence retaliates, this response/defence is treated as the originating act of aggression and (retrospective) _casus belli_. History didn't start yesterday. #MediaBias #USImperialism #Iran #IranWar #Israel #InternationalLaw #framing #Disinformation

Interview: "How Hawkish Democrats, from Schumer to Harris, Paved the Way for War with Iran" "The climate that the Democrats have helped lay in these 20 years of hawkish statements & resolutions... really made Trump’s job easier & has enabled him, thus far, to get away with it." Dem opposition has been "largely on procedural grounds without making a forceful moral case against war". ~Stephen Zunes https://www.democracynow.org/2026/4/23/stephen_zunes #USPol #EUPol #IranWar #USImperialism #neocons #news #racism .

Report: "Iran rejects second round of talks over ‘Washington’s excessive demands'." "Iran has rejected participation in a second round of peace talks due to “Washington’s excessive demands, unrealistic expectations, constant shifts in stance, repeated contradictions, & the ongoing naval blockade, which it considers a breach of the ceasefire”. https://aje.news/w7b54q?update=4505711 #USPol #EUPol #IranWar #FakePeaceTalks #press #Ceasefire #USImperialism #Racism .

Report: The US can't reproduce its high-end weaponry quickly enough. Munitions used in just the first 4 days of the war on Iran used 92 tons of copper, 137kg neodymium, 18kg gallium, 37kg tantalum, 7kg dysprosium, & 600 tons ammonium perchlorate (only 1 domestic US source). China controls production of 98% of gallium, 90% neodymium, 99% dysprosium. The US is a currency issuer. It *cannot* run out of USD. No such luck with copper, etc. https://thecradle.co/articles/between-war-and-industrial-breakdown-the-us-israeli-attrition-crisis #USPol #EUPol #USImperialism .
