Next time someone tries to convince you that their local slop machine is "privacy friendly" and "fully GDPR-compliant", ask them to try this: Take a glass of water. Pour it into the sea. Extract the same water from the sea again. The same goes for our data once they're fed to a slop machine. There's nothing privacy friendly about the complete loss of control over our information.
