The shop is 2000 square feet and is fully equipped with #woodworking tools, #metalworking tools, #3DPrinters, electronics and more! Membership Levels The membership structure consists of three levels. All three membership levels pay the same monthly dues of $60 plus #HST with different privileges for each membership level. 'Nobody should expect a devolved skills strategy to undo a class-coded hierarchy that’s taken decades to settle. As Sarah O'Connor (FT) points out when we think about the future of specific jobs/professions (in the face of technological change) we need to factor in what she calls "anticipatory obsolescence' - the tendency of your people to look at the prospective future & shape their educational paths on that basis; thinking a certain job has no future reduces the incentive to train for it & in a sense becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy as skilled practitioners decline.... #workers #skills #education

A minute ago I took a look at this repository https://github.com/skorotkiewicz/earth-game/tree/main It’s author prepared local-only, simple gamified version of TODO/personal planner that has to help reaching personal goals. It seems quite interesting and for sure I’m gonna give it a try. But the project reminded me that some time ago I was looking for an app/approach that will resemble personal goals (specifically widely understood skills) as Skill Tree widely known from all RPGs. Do you know any such project? Do you use it and it’s any helpful or it’s just pure fun? #skills #selfdeveopment
