Three good things: -> After watching the film We Are Pat yesterday on Kanopy (thank you local library!), I've arrived at further levels of understanding the breadth of my agenderness. It's more profound than even I expected, and I'd been building up to certain aspects for decades more subconsciously than I realized. This is a very good thing! 😊 -> I thought we were losing one direction of bus service by my home with an upcoming service change. Very gratefully, that is not the case; the service change sign was just poorly written. -> On the bus today, the bus driver was playing music, as they do. What should fully play at great volume throughout the cabin but Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Relax. Imagine that, in a fairly conservative city! 😀 @3goodthings@fedigroups.social #3GoodThings #Agender #PublicTransportation #FrankieGoesToHollywood

Two interesting things happened on the many buses I took to & from my new GI doctor today. First, when I was about to get to the transfer point to the second bus, if we had started to turn at the intersection as we were supposed to, we would have been involved in a serious 2 car accident. The driver of one car was pinned in the car and was seriously injured at best. Second, as I was getting onto my last bus, we stopped right there because the bus broke down, and we had to wait a half hour for a replacement coach. This was because it was so hot today (38C/101F) that the CNG fuel wouldn't circulate properly! #PublicTransportation #NearAccident

My transit system's decision makers are *terribly* clever! A while back, they sent out a survey asking what was important to residents, and the desire for regional transportation was high on the list. So they thought "Ah! We will rebrand the system to no longer be an abbreviation of the names of the two primary cities, and poof...instant regional service!" Worried about the shrinking #GreatSaltLake? Me, too. #utpol #Utahns claim they care. If so, where's the money for these programs to reduce #SLC air pollution? Air pollution directly increases the snow melt and heat in the valley. #Utah #CleanAir #PublicTransportation https://utahnewsdispatch.com/2026/07/14/two-salt-lake-city-transportation-programs-cut-hive-pass-green-parking/

My city's public transportation is definitely an afterthought. In order to connect with the nearby city or to get to the Denver metro area, both in the morning and the afternoon, there is a 3 hour dead time where the bus simply doesn't run. The alternative is an over $45 per way ride share/taxi to go 20 miles. Seems like they are doing everything possible to require vehicle usage for daily living. What about people like me, that can no longer drive and are on a fixed income? #PublicTransportation #Colorado #Greeley
