Oh.. Telstra fault looks like core network issue! It seems a heap of prefixes (blocks of Telstra network addresses) just got updated through different routes at 3am (i.e. the Internet suddenly realised they can't reach parts of Telstra so there was a mad scramble to find alternate routes!) A vendor for my day job had a 12 hour outage to start the week. The length pushed the vendor into the second tier of SLA violations for the fiscal year. This morning we had a meeting to discuss that outage and they inadvertently confirmed it was unaudited vibe-coding/AI slop. So at least I've got that going for me. #AI #VibeCoding #Slop #Outage #LLM
