Today's run started like many others: I ran to the next town. But then I decided to keep going... all the way up to Peilstein, where I took the photo from the cliff. What was supposed to be a normal run turned into a 26 km adventure. Running home in the dark was surprisingly beautiful, with bats flying around me the whole way. Around the 20 km mark I could feel my energy fading, but there was only one way home: keep going. The faster I ran, the sooner I'd get home. Looking back, one thing really stands out. At the beginning I was completely lost in thought. By the end, my mind was empty. All I could think about was taking one step after another. This dashboard was generated with version 8 of my vibe-coded script. I implemented automatic background brightness detection, so the color gradient now adapts to each photo automatically.
