The Red Bridge in Campbell Town was completed in 1837, the work of convicts. It crosses the Elizabeth River in the North Midlands of Tasmania.

Last weekend I went to Liffey Falls with my wife. It's a 45 minute return walk, apparently. We were overtaken by quite a few walkers who passed us again on their way back. It took us nearly 3 hours, but we touched, smelled, listened, and saw a lot of flora. It wasn't really the season for tasting.
I'd never seen Candlesnuff Fungus before, so was almost as excited as at the waterfall.

In Campbell Town, central Tasmania, they have a statue of Elizabeth Furlong. She was part of a farming dynasty that helped introduce Merino sheep to Australia.
I like the way the town commemorate socio economic achievement rather than politico military like so many do.
And it's good that the woman of the family gets recognition rather than being erased and eclipsed by her male relatives.
