I still don't get how the whole injecting cis men with extra testosterone regardless of endocrine balance doesn't bring about thoughts of gender affirming care to conservatives in the US. If your supposedly god given gender and sex are imperfect, and you choose to manipulate it, even in pursuit of a "more manly" physique, is that not making your own gender choice? If you make that choice, you're still broadly cis, but you've fundamentally changed your expression in most cases. In that case, if the whole hormonal boosters idea took effect, you've created a "hypermale" or "alpha male" or whatever as a new identity and expression. Congratulations, conservatives, you've created your own gender. Your inflamed thyroid and shrinking testicles applaud you. You didn't even have to medically alter yourself to reach a "more male" conclusion, yet you felt better by pursuing that. The level of hypocrisy and selfishness exhibited by bigots is lost upon them, but not upon the subjects of their "adoration". Two months post bottom surgery today! 🏳️‍⚧️ I'm doing okay, and everything is mostly healed. I am still dealing with a lot of hypersensitivity, but overall I am becoming much more independent, which feels like a huge step forward. I still need to regain my stamina, and I cannot sit or stand for long periods of time yet. That said, last Sunday I took my little one to a concert and spent about 12 hours away from home with no chance to lie down. I was in pain the next day, but thankfully it was nothing Tylenol could not handle. Recovery is still a process, but I am grateful for how far I have come in these first two months. 💜 #BottomSurgery #TransJoy #PostOpRecovery #GenderAffirmingCare
