A Plea Before Winter Sadly, while many people are enjoying peaceful and safe lives, we in Gaza no longer know what it means to truly live. 💔 We endured a brutal summer inside our tents, experiencing some of the hardest days of our lives — unbearable heat, insects, dust, and exhaustion that never seems to end. And now winter is approaching, and we are waiting for it with hearts full of fear and exhaustion. How can a worn-out, fragile tent withstand heavy rain and strong winds? How can I protect my children from the cold and rain when we have nowhere else to go? Our tent urgently needs repairs and renewal so that my children and I can have even a small measure of safety and shelter. A New Day in Gaza A new day… and we wait to see what this day will bring us. 💔 Last night was extremely difficult. The dogs barked continuously without stopping, the sounds of drones never left us, and my daughter became very sick when her severe kidney pain returned during the night. We tried calling the hospital, but we couldn’t find any transportation to take us there. How long are we going to keep waiting? How long must we live between fear and pain? Even the damaged houses that remain standing and where people seek shelter are now collapsing around those inside them. There is nowhere safe, no rest, and no way to escape this reality. We are not living a normal life… we are simply trying to stay alive, day after day.
