The #Houthis, an #Iran backed group in #Yemen, claimed Wednesday that they had targeted 2 Saudi #oil tankers with missiles and drones. Despite Simmons’ comments, #Trump went on to make much the same claim as #Hegseth during an April 1 primetime address from the Oval Office. The #US military’s official tally of #deaths in the #IranWar has risen to 14 service members, with the death of a Navy pilot in a helicopter crash in early July in the Arabian Sea.
