🧵 14/21 The City Hall of Stockholm boasts some magnificent interiors, through which the official guides will shepherd you while providing lots of information about the architecture and decoration of those spaces, the Nobel prize ceremonies that take place there, and the seating of the municipal government. I wish this official tour could be extended to take in the garden and the exterior of the building. The architecture of the building as a whole and the statuary on and around the hall deserve attention. The prominence of the City Hall reminded me of the importance of municipal and regional government in Sweden.
