During the #NagornoKarabakh conflict of 2022, #Armenia triggered the mutual defense clause of #CSTO. However #Moscow could not come to the aid of #Yerevan because of the on going #SpecialMilitaryOperation in #Ukraine. #US will be face something similar, soon. It will get entangled in a #Taiwan contingency. And when that happens, if another treaty ally or allies were to trigger the mutual defense clause of their treaty with #Washington they will be left to fend on their own. #NATO #GeoPolitics

Israel, in the glorious magnanimity of its enormous heart, has finally decided to recognize the Armenian Genocide–only 111 years after the fact. Actually Israel and AIPAC and the Anti-Defamation League vigorously opposed recognition of the Armenian Genocide not only within Israel, but also in America and other Western countries for DECADES. Apparently they felt that that would deprive them of the "specialness" of the Holocaust. So this sudden turn-around is simply a preparation for their upcoming attacks on Turkey. All four of my grandparents were child survivors of the Armenian genocide. Turkey has continued to deny the truth of what the Ottoman Empire did, even though it has been overwhelmingly proved with documentation and the official recognition of the genocide scholars of the world as well as most Western nations. Turkey has spent millions to try to obfuscate the issue and continue denial, and funded many academic chairs at prestigious American colleges and universities on the condition that whoever held those chairs deny the genocide. They've hunted down and attempted to erase the recorded testimony of survivors of the genocide. But Israel can go fuck itself. I'm not accepting their endorsement of the historical truth of the genocide, since they are literally committing genocide in the Middle East RIGHT NOW. Abolish Israel.
