- Devil’s Hand
Good start. Goood start. Hahaha! Very catchy and fun. Good solo! ooood solo! While I’m not big on thrash, this is a great start. I can also smell the sound of another MENA band. My guess is that they both have the same influence, rather than being influenced by each other, but I could be wrong.
- Wrong Star
Already, great track name. Quite the fun start! Wow the lyrics for this are very relatable. The riffs are jumpy, bouncy, goopy. Another good solo.
- It Burns
It sure does. Interesting intro, damn I am reminded of Grief, those loopy guitar thinges at the intro remind me of Grief. “I THINK I‘M DONE TIME IS OVER I WANNA OUT” MOOD Oh wow. When he says “It Burns” his vocals remind me of Blaakyum. Wow, what a satisfying ending.
- Ressurction
Good guitar tone. This guitar sound I feel is shared by many MENA bands, and I suspect it has to do with the nonexistence of amplifer brands. You simply play with what you could find.
Hmm. This track is going into a good direction.
Final WordsIt’s good. A shortie but a goodie, I’ll keep my eyes on this band, as they seem to be going in a very fun direction. The harsh vocals could use some work, the clean vocals are good, they could also use work, but I like them. The riffs are, the riffs are catchy and jumpy. The drums have a nice sound to them.

I’m taking a detour at some Arabian bands in the MENA region. I’ve already started a week ago with Algeria, as the list of countries in Metal Archices is sorted alphabetically.
I do speak Arabic, and I absolutely adore bands that sing in Arabic, the lyrics are powerful and closer to my heart. No one knows our struggle and fighting besides us. We know what we’ve been through, and it shows in our songs.
In any case, here’s what I already have logged:
Azar- Folk/Black
I liked the first piece a lot. It’s peaceful.

Eh it’s alright. I wouldn’t download it, the first track was nice. Hmm one track had femminine vocal backing, but I don’t know which one.
I will say it’s quite atmospheric, near the end it goes quite epic, large and wide. Wow, the drums are pretty nice as well, in “My Endless War”.
I might actually keep “The Hollow World” and “My Endless War”.
The ending track is quite good as well. It’s fitting.
Eh, I’ll download the entire album, why not.
