1PASSWORD RECOVERY CODE Keep this code in a safe and accessible place. ************* "safe and accessible place" is really giving some "draw rest of the fucking owl" energy. #infosec #1password #passwords #humor #meme

Apple have committed a number of self-owns lately, but most self-respecting developers still try their best to adhere to certain standards regarding the Mac user experience. @1Password, on the other hand, have taken it upon themselves to ignore the user's specified highlight colour and just make it blue. The stated reason for this is so that it provides 'a more consistent and polished experience across all platforms, ensuring that 1Password looks and feels the same whether you're using it on your Mac, Windows PC, or in your browser'. Decide for yourself how believable this sounds. The jarring visual dissonance that occurs when this bright blue thing pops up when you need to enter a password has to be experienced to be believed. Bad enough that they're jumping onto the 'AI' bandwagon, but this level of ignorance on the part of a major developer about the macOS user experience is stunning. They can fix this or lose at least this customer. #1password #mac #macos #ui

I bailed on 1Password about a year ago for Apple’s Passwords. It isn’t a total solution because I like to have bank and credit card information stored on my devices in a secure vault. Since I was already a SetApp subscriber, I started using Secrets for those things. #1Password #Secrets #ApplePasswords #SetApp

Does anyone using #1Password know if you can search for + addressed emails in the foo+bar@baz.com format? I want to find all accounts where I've used that format for aliases so I can update them. (searching for matt+ doesn't work as it just finds items with "matt" in it, which is... basically everything) @1password@1password.social
