So, Starfleet Academy? I’m not sure it’s working for me. Yes, partly because it’s all young adult-y, but partly because the writing feels off, and the casting is ..ugh? This future setting they’ve inherited from Discovery isn’t great either. The science in Trek has always been a bit hand-wavy, but at least felt *consistently* hand-wavy. Now it just feels like they’re making up words as they write

Honestly, I know it’s the Torygraph, but it’s hard to read stuff from someone just so determined to be wrong-headed. Traditional auto companies are struggling to sell EVs. Therefore there’s no EV market after all, and we’ve got the EV mandates wrong. But hold on, Chinese companies are managing to sell load of EVs here..? Maybe ‘cos they’re making decent, good value cars?
