The #Alzheimer Society sent me a card because somebody made a donation in memory of my dad. It's exactly my kind of dark humour that they inlcluded a packet of flower seeds. They're Forget-Me-Nots. I know it's intended to be comforting, but I think it's hilarious.

If you are able, I'm sure the Alzheimer Society in your area would appreciate a donation.

Who among you has thought that their toaster needed a touch screen? This is baffling me. I set the controls on my toaster and never touch them again. I would much prefer a toaster where I could actually get all the crumbs out of the damn thing.

@skyfaller@jawns.club @FediTips@social.growyourown.services There should be some amount of grace period between when a domain name stops resolving because you didn't pay the registration fee and when somebody else is allowed to 'swoop in' and buy it out from under you. The name suddenly not resolving is a hard-to-ignore indication that something has broken and must be fixed, if you want to fix it.
