Für mich war lange Zeit normal, mit dem Dienstwagen volle Kanne über die Autobahn zum Kundentermin zu düsen. Inzwischen halte ich es für eine Zwangsstörung, München-Frankfurt in drei Stunden zu machen. (Doch, das geht auch unter Einhaltung der Verkehrsregeln mit üblichen Kfz, aber normal ist das nur dann, wenn Sie die richtigen Bleifüße fragen)

Vielleicht hilft es, es zu übersetzen, denn ich meine damit: "Die, die ich in dieser Frage für die Mehrheit halte." Seit ich das so sehe, verwende ich das Wort normal gar nicht mehr. Sondern "üblich" oder "unauffällig", "Mainstream", vielleicht auch "herkömmlich, "traditionell" oder gar "konservativ". Je nach Zusammenhang.

@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space I left FB one year ago (after 15 years). It was clear then what was bound to happen. Yes, I lost connection to people whose profiles I saw regularly. But really, I never knew them. Recognizing someones profile despite their new picture is neither friendship nor community. Maybe familiarity. I think the sense of community was created by the algorithm. The same way it created community for MAGA. It presorted the world to give us a feeling of likeness. It showed curated reality. That might have been comforting when real reality was too hard to take. But it gave us power over us. This mastodon instance is a good place to start regaining autonomy. Spread the word. Thank you to the people who make it possible.
