Today is subscription cancellation day apparently.

#VirginMedia connectivity issues for the past two weeks. Just checked and they reverted their FibreHub from bridge mode back to router mode.

Called their technical support.
VM: "Bridge mode isn't supported any more."
Me: "OK, can I go back to IPv4-only then?"
VM: "Not without a good reason."
Me: "I'm cancelling the subscription otherwise."
VM: "Not good enough."

OK, goodbye.

12 days and counting of domain outage. Just terrible technical support by #Gandi.
And I used to recommend them.

I hear some people say that, as a large fraction of software engineering is done by AI, it is important for ICs to develop people managerial skills to oversee their AI agents.

IMHO these people either aren't managers themselves, or are bad ones.

For me, people management isn't about orchestrating or instructing others, but fostering growth and productivity.

First impressions: Gnome 50 is really nice and I'm getting used to the 125% fractional scaling.
