Since the server is still online, I tried a couple common paths, like /about and /contact but they don't exist. The only link I found was to another version of the same page, but with this map on it.

I see an SSL cert that appears valid until Jun, but I think the there's a problem with the domain name (as of April 18). Maybe the domain got seized for some reason? I'm not sure what EU laws are like around that.
I don't know what the site looked like before, but the server still provides a response if you hit the IP directly:

@knasman@fosstodon.org I have to use Windows for work. It's amazing that this is considered an acceptable experience for professional business. Basic functions just stop working, core programs don't open, and audio has been a mess. For about a month my start menu wouldn't even work correctly.
Not to mention my laptop sounds like a jet engine, is uncomfortably hot to the touch, and only lasts about 3 hours on battery.
I have the same model of laptop running Fedora as my personal machine. It's cool and quiet, and the battery lasts the entire day.

Looks like I've been on this self-hosted instance since 2024, and my original account on another server is from 2023, so about 3 years in total.
The #EveryHam #AmateurRadio #Contest website is live!
I've set up a "Test" contest for tomorrow, 18 April, 0000-2359 UTC.
No guarantees that any part of it will actually work, but if you happen to be on the radio tomorrow and you'd like to submit 5 of your QSOs to the contest, go for it!
The submission window is 8 days from the start of the contest (day of, plus 7 days after)
This is the first time I've attempted anything like this, so I'd appreciate any feedback on the process, any bugs you noticed, etc.
EveryHam.org is technically online now.
It's currently just a placeholder, but the real site is in development. There are still bugs in the submission/scoring logic that need to be worked out.
I'll be looking for some folks to test it once I get the obvious bugs worked out, if anyone is interested.

@eieio@mastodon.gamedev.place correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe accessing the keyboard on Linux requires super user access, so while piping a random script directly into bash is still a bad idea, I don't think you could accidentally install a keylogger, unless you're running it as root.
