I just want to congratulate everyone on improving the work culture around alcohol. It’s easy to forget how big of an issue that was 10 or 15 years ago. I’m not even strictly sober but I don’t wanna drink all the time, who does?

And now every bar has NA beer and mocktails, my coworkers run the gamut of drinkers, sometimes-drinkers, and non-drinkers for a variety of reasons, and nobody bats an eye if I order a Shirley Temple.

Today I donated to #Navidrome, an open-source, self-hosted music server that checks all the boxes: lightweight, powerful, reliable, open. I loaded a bunch of my favorite albums into it last month and have been trying out third-party web, desktop, and mobile apps...there are so many options. It's been awesome.

Voter behavior, COVID mitigation, road and freeway safety, consumer trends, etc. If your plan for a better world is for most humans to fundamentally change, you’ll be disappointed. There are ways to make a better world, but they’re all systemic.
