I finished this book last night. A/S/L is great. If you’re a sucker for books about old games, late 99s internet and outcasts this is the one to read.
someone ported Wolf 3D to the Game boy color. fun project. Yes it does use a co-processor on the cart, but nintendo did that all the time, so I think it counts.

for all you home labbers out there. I migrated my lab from a ryzen 7 3700x to a HP sff gen 6 I3, and apart from the windows server gui in a VM being a little slower, I haven't seen any performance difference streaming 4k movies, audio books and music.
I have a second SFF i use for projects and messing around.
so I guess the lesson is don't over spec devices.

@mosssupply I've already taken one machine (main homelab) down and replaced it with a SFF mini pc I had around because many of it's parts can be used on my personal computer. I didn't want it plugged in and get damaged.
