we did some little mix touch-ups (and a couple of lowkey overhauls) last night, and this morning are listening straight through to the first assembled version of 80s kids 2. and, you guys, holy shit, it's SO GOOD. i think probably way better than the first 80s kids record. can not WAIT for you all to hear it!! ❤️

@R0B0_G0D@retro.pizza hi! i think you are right about this in many circumstances, sure. and i know that checkmark people have an option to not even see replies from non-checkmark accounts, and i'm sure that busier accounts do make use of this feature. also, i have been on the birdsite for long enough to be extremely aware that the dynamic that i described absolutely does exist. 😇 it's most obvious with low-follower checkmark accounts, where there's not a volume-related reason for the behavior.
