I mean, I *think* this is a well known trick in the Shortcuts community? But if you’re adding custom icons to your Homescreen to launch apps, adding the “Nothing” action first prevents a Shortcuts notification from showing when you launch it. #Shortcuts #Apple #iOS #iPadOS #iPhone

I actually need to use it later this evening, and the website shows “undefined” as the service restoration time. According to a post on X (why the hell can’t transit authorities get off that platform?) there was an update due at 10am, but I don’t see any news, nor an actual explanation for the outage. It’s not even clear to me if some trains are running over the affected section, or none at all. Bunch of amateurs.

The new bus route is provided by the STM (the city of Montreal’s transit authority) and complements the long-running 747 bus which connects the airport with Lionel-Groulx and Berri-UQAM on the Metro. I believe both bus routes will go when the REM opens its station at the airport, due to the moronic non-competition clause the REM’s makers managed to negotiate with the government. #Montreal #transit

So, as I’m travelling up from McGill to Des Sources (with a change at Bois-Franc) a little history for those not in the loop. The REM is Greater Montreal’s new all-singing all-dancing automated light-rail¹ network. It will eventually go to the airport directly in 2027, but until then a new bus service has been introduced between the airport and the nearest currently open REM station at Des Sources. #Montreal #transit ____ ¹ Please don’t @ me
