Enable Linux compat (Rocky Linux 9 base):

doas sysrc linux_enable="YES"
doas service linux start
doas pkg install linux_base-rl9

Download Node.js Linux binary into the chroot:

doas mkdir -p /compat/linux/tmp /compat/linux/usr/local
doas fetch -o /compat/linux/tmp/node.tar.xz https://nodejs.org/dist/v22.0.0/node-v22.0.0-linux-x64.tar.xz
doas tar xf /compat/linux/tmp/node.tar.xz -C /compat/linux/usr/local/ --strip-components=1

3. Fix DNS and install Claude Code:
doas cp /etc/resolv.conf /compat/linux/etc/resolv.conf
doas chroot /compat/linux /bin/bash -c "/usr/local/bin/npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code"

Mount your home directory:

doas mkdir -p /compat/linux/home/YOUR_USER
doas mount -t nullfs /home/YOUR_USER /compat/linux/home/YOUR_USER

5. Add alias to ~/.zshrc:
alias claude='doas chroot /compat/linux /bin/bash -c "cd /home/YOUR_USER && /usr/local/bin/claude"'
Then source ~/.zshrc and run claude 🎉
Note: remove any broken FreeBSD npm install first with doas npm uninstall -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
