CRT Oscilloscope - Free to a good home
I've got an old SELabs SM111 CRT Oscilloscope sitting in my garage which it seems a shame to dump at the tip.
It works BUT it doesn't focus, the best you can get is a 1cm wide bar not a thin crisp green line. See pics.
However it looks really cool. Again see pics.
Anyway if you want it (or know someone who might) and can collect it from Cambridgeshire (it weighs 25lbs) then it's yours.

@beardymcnerd@hachyderm.io I'm teetering on becoming a solar bore and it was only switched on yesterday. We've got 3 batteries and it's predicted we won't be buying power off the grid until something like October which I didn't believe but as we've not used any today since the batteries went over their 20% threshold it might not be that crazy.
I'm still amazed that the sunlight on our roof this morning boiled the kettle ran the tumble dryer and just made me an espresso.

Chatting to the local Greens last night most, but not all, were not aware of MMT (Modern Monetary Theory) or that the Government creates money via spending and destroys it via taxation.
It should be at the heart of their economic policies, so it was a little disheartening how many of them were unaware of it.
