@ely_peddler@hachyderm.io We had a battery installed a few months ago, and I have basically not stopped going on about how cool it is :D A week or so ago, in that really sunny period, we went for about 36 hrs without buying any electricity from the grid. And that included a short (~12 mile) drive in the car, too. It's "dad who turns down the thermostat" heaven. 🤗

@book Looks an awful lot like a back-scrubber that has lost its brush :) But now? Now you have a fine stick! A stick to be proud of!
