the best thing about giving up on my (and by proxy my family's) future is that I can play (and lose!) 5 dota matches in a row, sprinkled with some losses in the finals too! I had these big plans to start my own company, but I tasted the sweetness of not being bound to anything, and having 0 meetings and I can't be arsed to go back

on the positive side I get to watch my kids a lot, and it's the best feeling in the world! Maybe even if I'm lazy it's not that big of a deal? So much more to life than just work. If only I would be wealthy enough to keep doing this until I die (of old age, otherwise it's possible if I die like Saturday).

I wish I could run my own company without having to advertise it. I hate ads so so much and I think they're kind of what ruined the internet, and a lot of other things, but feels like I must play this game. Nevertheless, I'll try to advertise in the forms of shitposts... maybe that'll get me the perfect customers

@GeePawHill@mastodon.social I never know what to do, do I favour women twice as much in applications than men? That's "sexist" too, but then I guess it's kind of trying to make it more equal for them? And then how would women feel knowing that they got hired because I was biased towards them? Would they be creeped out? Also what if it's all good and I helped them, but the environment is not suitable? Had a very strong junior engineer last year, and she was being picked on in meetings more than on one occasion. I'd like to do good, but I genuinely don't know/understand how 😭

any UX + UI designers offering hourly rates? Preferably in Eastern Austria or Western Hungary.
