@ceartas@mastodon.world @teleclimber@social.tchncs.de @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org WTF??? Your wife was penalized for being late to work during a massive flood. IMO, that is total BS. No job like that is worth risking life and limb

@0xabad1dea That is awesome! I felt like I back in the 90's when I first got my Gameboy. It was a life changer for me.

@justine I have grapheneOS and have used all kinds of apps from the Google play store. Most work without issue. Sometimes I have to change a permission, but not a hard task. I use Aurora to install apps from the play store, and everything works.

@derekheld Good on you for taking the CERT class and training. I took a CERT class in 2009 (yes I am getting old) I learned some very useful hands-on skills, some of which I still use. One of the most valuable items I learned is how the local, state, and federal agencies worked. I think is well worth the time and effort. The final simulated exercises was fun. To those that are interested I highly recommend it. It teaches some life saving skill and an understanding of how emergency services work. You may have to search a few areas to find a class. Some cities and counties offer the classes and some don't. In order to find my class I emailed every city and county emergency management office I could find around me. Some places offer the class and love to teach it, but wait for people to show interest

@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange I don't even know what to say about this. I am still in shock about what I have been reading, and thinking that this some nightmare horror film. Nope, it is real life. Those are/were some sick twisted people. The type of people that would be locked in a deep hole if they weren't powerful or connected to powerful people. If these weren't people with power then FOX news would be having every pundint they could air called for them to be executed. This whole thing just screams coverup to me the deeper this gets. My mind is screaming that Alex Jones and all the crazy conspiracy theorists from 15-20 years ago were right along. We live in a messed up world. I have been reading some of the emails and wondering why so many names and email addresses are blacked out. Some of the subjects and text in the email should be enough to start a federal investigation This is not just a few people but many people, and most are in power. But, hey keep paying your taxes and following the law, and don't forget you and I are just subjects. I have used sulfuric acid before at a job for testing and QA/QC. A gallon of it would last us 6 months of heavy use. I don't want to let my mind go to the dark places thinking about what this amount of acid is used for. When the company that I worked for needed to buy the acid we had to jump through a few hoops to make sure we were using it for lawful and proper purposes. This is just a huge WTF

@crazyeddie@mastodon.social if you have a somewhat modified system the script doesn't also state errors or just hangs. Just give me the deb or rpm package.

@Janeishly@mastodonapp.uk All that, and finding a new BBS that was within your local calling area. Better yet finding out that a new ISP was in your town and they had much better service then your current ISP
